Pigsitting Spring Break Vacation going to have to board the piggies

The people and dogs in my family are going to be going on vacation for a week in March. The piggies will have to be boarded at my vet. They have Guinea Pig experience so they will be well cared for. My question is about the cage situation. Bella and Elvis (my past piggies) had to be separated due to aggression issues so they did ok in smaller temporary cages when they were boarded. I don't know how I'm going to transport the 2 x 4 that Charlie and Frank share though :?:. Does anyone have any experience with this? I guess I could take the cage apart and put it back together once we get to the vet clinic... but I don't know. If I bought a large pet store cage for the week would they have fighting issues? There is no one that I trust to take care of them. So they will have to be boarded. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe some one here or on guinealynx near you could take in the piggies for the week. That way they could have a nice large cage and lots of care...
That would be great if there were someone nearby!
