do males spray??? I lifted one of the males I have and he had like an odor, he wasnt dirty or anything but it was smelly and I remember reading somewhere that males are stinkier then females.

I've never had boars, but "boar stink" is a pretty common complaint from people who do. They do it to mark territory or something.

Yes, it's not stinky like mice and rats, but it is a definite stink. It's also not all the time, just when they feel that they need to mark their territory. I just described it in another thread as like a musky, pooey, sweaty cheese smell. Someone else might have a better explanation of what it smells like, though.
