I thought I would share some pictures from the standardbred racing/breeding stable I work at.
This is Diamond, I occasionally ride him. He is a retired racehorse and is the only retired one to stay forever. He has earned his place with winnings totalling over $65,000. He stands at 17.1hh.
This is Casey. She was the third of three foals born from their mother, Erika. Erika died of reasons I don't know when Casey was eight days old, so she was bucket fed. Casey is now two.
This is Junior (left) and Buddy (right), two stallions at that time. I don't know Buddy as he left before I arrived, but Junior I jog train about twice a week, usually 3-6 miles. His owner jogs him the rest of the days. He is a sweet boy. He is now gelded.
This is Shady. He is currently for sale as a riding horse because he did not make it on the track. Anyone that is interested in a great, FAST, but green horse, let me know. He paces and trots but is learning to canter. 15.1hh.
