Hay Soft hay?

I've seen pigs online burrowing in what looks like really soft hay. Is this timothy hay, or something different? The pet store's hay is rather stiff. However, my pig loves to dig around, so I think he'd LOVE to play in some fluffy soft hay!

It's probably orchard hay or bluegrass hay. Timothy hay can be stalky and stiff, orchard and blugrass are both softer.

My timothy hay from sweet meadow farm is super soft-Squint loves it so his cage is filled halfway with it. it's pretty cheap so I can afford to give him lots; unlike pet store hay.

My piggie also loves to burrow in the hay. I give him the blue stuff from KMS and it is so much nicer than the timothy hay I have seen. Although, I'm sure any hay straight from a feed store will be nicer than the bagged stuff.
