Hi can anyone tell me why my pigs poop stinks really bad??
it never used to stink real bad and i havnt changed their diet or anything and im getting worried! could he be sick?

have you cleaned the cage lately? I'm not sure why it would be doing this if you haven't changed their diet at all..someone more experienced could probably help you..but i would say its not un normal.

Yes, I agree. If you haven't changed his diet, then either his cage needs cleaning or something is wrong with him. I would take him to the vet.

well im going to take him to the vet because it was just after the cage had been cleaned and the cage didnt stink at all

Certain veggies will cause them to be smellier or leave smellier urine. What do you feed your piggies as far as veggies? One of the veggies could actually be the culprit.

they get all the usual, 1 baby carrot a day, romaine, cucumber, celery, red pepper, fruit once or twice a week, it just depends what we have at the time

What did the vet say about the smelly poop. I have noticed Misty's poop has started to smell.

Could it be the pepper? I know when I feed mine peppers, they tend to stink more.

I don't feed Misty pepper. I have just started to vary her vegetables more. Now she gets mixed lettuce every day and then corriander, parsley, mint, brocolli, baby corn, green beans, cabbage or carrot randomly through the week...so it's mixed lettuce every day + 3 of the other vegetables as well.

Is it just me who thinks their piggy's poop doesn't smell at all? I've been pooped on many a time and it is pretty odourless compared to that of a human! Only if it got wet with urine would it smell at all.

Impacted males' poops smell dreadful, though.

Misty's poop never used to smell at all, it's just in this past week it has started to smell.

What does it mean??!!! How can I unsmell it???!!!

Only Eddie's poop smells. None of my other pig's poop smells.
