Simplest possible fleece cozy -- how to make?

It's getting chilly both outside and inside. I don't want our piggy to get cold, so I was thinking of making him a fleece cozy (bag style). Can someone give instructions for a really simple hand-sewn (I don't have a sewing machine) fleece cozy. I do want to do something to help the opening stay open, but other than that a simple one-layer design is more what I had in mind than multi layers with batting etc...
