We adopted a new piggy this past Saturday and named her Josie. I took her to her first vet appointment today and all went well. The funny thing that happened was after I put Josie back in the kitty carrier she proceeded to back her little bum up against the door and pee all over the Cavy Health Record Book I just bought! She left quite a puddle too. I guess I know better next time not to put anything next to the carrier or it might get wet.

Hah! That's funny. Today I was in the kitchen and put Cali down on the counter, and she backed up and peed on the little metal tray that the toaster sits on.

I wonder why they do that?

When you got to go, you got to go.

I think it is to toy with us. My guinea pigs sleep in the litter pan, and pee in their igloos. Its to torture me...

now that sounds familiar

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with that problem.

My girls fight over who is going to sit and sleep in the litter pan - they use it like a chair whether it is clean or not. I have one who likes to eat her veggies & fruit in it. I always know when she has been in it - she leaves whatever she doesn't finish behind.

Oh, you should see Smores with the litter pan. Some times he's sitting in it, next thing he's doing is playing Trading Spaces with it. Hilarious and then he gives that: "What?" look.

Aww How silly!! I love how pigs like to redecorate too... My girls have to have their pigloos just right. If I take it out, they get all huffy when I put it back in. They butt it with their heads and push it back where they had it before. How DARE I mess up their furniture!

That is so cute. I haven't seen my piggys do that yet. Although the younger one likes to hide behind her hidey house sometimes.

That's what I like about have 4 - their personalities are so different I never know what they are going to do next.

I have one who will push the tubes around or anything else I put in as if they are in her way. I sometimes think it's her way of taking control, especially since was the first pig.
