Sick Pig...maybe?

I live with my parents and I had gotten Mr. Piggy from a friend under the impression he was a she so then I went to kentucky and someone from there had Spotty and I brought her home and found out that Mr. Piggy was really a boy so we had to seperate them. I wasn't supposed to get a second pig in the 1st place so I have met my limitations. She may be pregnet and i'm going to try keep a girl baby if she has one.

If she is pregnant how is she going to show this baby how to eat if you do not give her more of a variety of vegetables. What type of lettuce did you give her? My pigs love Parsley, Corriander (cilantro) and carrots.. try some of those. You need to stop feeding her the mixture from walmart. They really do need just plain pellets, you could order them online.

I find that if their urine is in contact with the air for long periods of time it turns white and hardens.

You know what I give her diff veggie daily i only have access to so many. I'm sick of people on her ragging on me b/c i'm not cramming the veggies down her throught...so i think i'm going to stop using this site me and my pigs will be fine.

You said the only things that you have tried are oranges, apples, lettuce, peppers and beans. This is not much of a variety. If you refuse to give her what she needs and refuse to take our advice then why are you even asking for it?

i'm actually done with your stupid website its a gp for godsakes not a baby

It may not be a baby but she is still apart of your family and should be treated like one.

and she does get good care but i'm not about to shove food down her throught she gets plenty of vit c and she is healthy.

She needs a good diet with fruit, veg and pelleted food to be healthy.

your rude and we'll be ok with out your help.

Don't get all hormonal lilshortie, we are all trying to help =-)

I know you are tying your best, but just remember to keep on trying with the veggies!

Yes, it may not be a baby, but to me it's just as important as on. It's a life for goodness sake, not a plaything

no thats fine help someone else as i won't be using this site anymore

Ok then, let that be your choice. We will not force you to stay on this website (",)

So...why are you still on this thread then?

Lilshortie! Please do not use that kind of language.

Thank you... I love animals loads so being a female dog doesn't bother me.

We're just trying to help Lilshortie. People have just been suggesting different vegetables. Maybe your guinea pig would like them? We've all had to go through a bit of trail & error to see what our guinea pigs like.

As for the pelleted food, you can order some from (broken link removed) if you want.

lilshort, Relax hun, there is no need to start cussing. When i first got Silky (granted it wasn't that long ago, she had never had any veggies or fruit. At first she refused to take them at all! even if i just placed them in her veggie bowl. So what i did was i picked her up for lap time and took some cucumber and started nibbling on it so it made the sound she makes when she eats. I ate 1 all by my self before she got up the courage to take a bite herself. Even if she only eats her veggies when she's on your lap, thats fine. Even if its only 1 slice a day for a few days....every little bit helps:) try and remember hun, we are only here to give you suggestions (that you asked for). Not to ridicule (SP?) you for what you haven't done or tried:)

I hope you have a great day

Maybe she is lonely and wants a friend. Did she live with a friend before you got her? Does she know that vegetables and fruits are food?

Remember, too many carrots are not good for them. Give carrots sparingly, twice a week is okay.

what does happen when you give them too many carrots?

It causes health problems because they contain too much vitamin A. Too much vitamin A can cause bladder stones, kidney stones, and liver problems.

lilshortie-if you don't know my policy on using curse words and namecalling on this forum, I suggest you read up on it. I am issuing a warning to you that if you call anyone on this forum that name or any other name again you will find yourself on vacation for a week.
