General Should I introduce them now? help please

Hi all, my little one is no far off 2 weeks old, he is a boy and still in with his mother. He eats his veggies, drinks and is off milk. Ruby my older male is in his own home by himself so the plan is to move my little one in with him, how should I start the introductions? Can I move him over now or not a good idea? My little one was born and has lived right next to Ruby so Ruby is already somewhat familiar with him and has seen me handle him alot, Ruby even wheeks to see him so it feels like it may be a good time on Ruby's side.

Will he handle the move from his mother well?

Well i dont know when a good time to move him away from his mum is.
Butmaybe when you decided to first introduce them do it in a netural setting like floor time. So it is neithers space.

Thanks for your post, it will definitely be on neutral ground and most probably floor time. I know I have to move him before 3 weeks but i'm wondering if now or soon is too early?

If he's still nursing I'd leave him with his mom for the full 21 days.

He's not nursing anymore so thats why I thought maybe a good time?

UPDATE! Today is move day so while I very thoroughly cleaned the whole cage I had Ruby and Sunny have an introduction and some floor time together the after I put them into the cage, right now there's tons of pop corning! A lot of checking the cage out, a lot of butt smelling, some chasing and banging into each other while popcorning, Ruby is rumbling as I expected but no nips so far, no yawns, and no mounting because Sunny is too fast lolllll I hope it's stays this way!

Thanks! Right now there are knocked out from exhaustion I think and sleeping the fun introduction off! lol very funny really so far it's been going way better than I imagined! Hopefully it will continue like this! Will update soon!
