Hey y'all...

A girl on here, Brianna...said that I should NOT have my vet trim Oscar's teeth...

What do you think and suggest I should do?

Shouldnt need to get them trimmed if they have enough things to chew on.But if they need it you should go its not like you can trim them yourself :p.

If you pig is healthy, eating and not losing any wieght, there is absolutely no need to trim the teeth at all.

Teeth are maintained properly by serving lots of free choice grass hay. Hay does a good job of wearing down teeth. If you can find it, serve some fresh grass to your pigs as well. Hay is merely dried grass. Make sure your grass is not treated in any way (no fertilizer or pesticides), and not from an area frequented by stray dogs or cats, and not by a roadside of any sort. Grass also wears down teeth effectively, and also has plenty of nutritional value.
