Cage Shelf cage..how to make it poo and urine proof?

Hi there..and of course your piggies^^
well...my mom now only let me to have a shelf cage...
but the shelf that she gave me is made out of wood...
i heard that wood may absorb the smell of the poo and urine of the piggies..
those who use wood to make cages..how do you do it??

You can cover the wood with tiles, but be sure the pigs can't chew them. You can also make waterproof pads by sewing fleece to an absorbent layer and a plastic layer on the bottom, and put them on the shelves.

You can line it with plastic shower curtain or vinyl flooring.

How big (width x depth) of the shelf? Most are not big enough.

YOu can line it with a shower curtan, tiles, or you can use what they use on the bottom of C&C cages. sorry frogot the name of it
