Sealed Corners?

Hello, Love the photos of the cages. Have received some great ideas from previous posts. I had one question concerning the corners of the C&C cages. Has anyone sealed the corners of the coroplast liner and if so, how? Is it necessary?

My first guess would be duct tape or packing tape but I want somthing more permanent and durable. Was curious if anyone had information on good oderless and non-toxic brands, or key ingredients to look for (or avoid). Any information would be greatly apreciated.

My pig has endured her 12 X 24 pet store starter far too long. Plans for a new 28 X 42 with second levl and terrace are in the works. Will post photos when complete.

With bedding in, I don't think you'll find you'll get any leakage on the corners. If you tried to pour water in to an empty coroplast box, you'd probably find it's not quite watertight, but as soon as the bedding is in, it's absolutely fine.

However, if you want to, I do remember seeing on the site that a drop of glue in the corners can help make a more secure seal for those who want extra reassurance. Obviously you'd need to let it dry out and air thoroughly before you used it, and I'm not sure what glue is best to use, and more importantly which not to use (I can't find the page it was on so it may be one that's not yet been transferred to the new format). Hopefully someone will be able to add to this.

if u cut the coroplast right there wont be any leaks at all from the corners i i made slits on the each corner and then used packing tape on the outside just to hold the flap in place wait it says that on the site lol
