Scab on foot??

Today me and mom were holding Rizzo when we discovered there is a black scab looking place on her ankle where there is no fur. It is really wworrying and I have no clue what it could be. Could anyone please help me? I want to take her to the vet but I thought I would get advice on here first. THanks

Has she been itching at all? Is there anything in her cage she could have injured herself on? Did you just recently adopt her? One of my piggies lived in a wire-bottomed cage before I adopted her, and she had scabs on both of her feet.

It could just be like a callous or a spur. If it is, the vet will just clip it off, it won't hurt them at all.

Well, it doesnt seem to beother her any. I really got concerned when I started reading about mites. I got her in March. Shes doesnt seem to itch much or anything. She jumps around alot so she could have on her wooden house, but it does seem to look like maybe a callus or something like that. Thank yall so much and if you have any other ideas or suggestions. ..It would be greatly appreciated. I am going to take her hopefully. I hope I can find a vet around here that will look at cavies. Im sure there is though...if not, ill travel. Lol. THanks again!

I just looked at her and it doesnt look like a raised place. More like a scab...? im confused..
