I am not sure if this is the right area to post this but my heart feels heavy. Back in November my husband and I adopted two wonderful guinea pigs from a wonderful lady. Since then I always keep an eye on petfinder to see whats going on with her and for the longest time she hasn't had any up for adoption. Aparently she has decided to stop rescuing guinea pigs after she found two of her adoptees dumped in a shelter. She just cant take the dissapointments she has had. This year has been a hard one for her. I want to do something for her to show how thankful I am for her help I just don't know what. I keep on meaning to email her to show her pictures I just keep on forgeting. Any idea's? I know it takes a special person to start a rescue and I was thinking about maybe making her something. I quilt and was thinking about making something small. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

I would e-mail her with the pictures of the pigs, and maybe you hugging the pigs and having fun with them. Also a nice little message saying how much you appreciate her letting you adopt from her and how great she was for rescueing the gp's.

A letter showing your appreciation of her and a pic of you and the pigs, would be perfect! I am sure her spirits will lift with that wonderful news. :0)
