Does anyone compost their bedding, or use it in their gardens?

I generate so much dirty bedding, it is too much for our small compost.

I agree it is a lot, but can it be done? We have very bad soil here (clay) and lots of organic material is recommended to break up the clay, and it seems I may have the perfect solution - shavings and fertilizer.

My mom uses the used bedding for our garden. We've got a huge compost pile in the back of the garden that my mom is getting concerned about. I may actually be "producing" too much, in which case I'll have to take the used bedding to a recycling center.
