raised?

If your cage is on carpet and has a coroplast bottom with fairly high sids and also has planty of hidey houses does it still need to be off the floor?? the room i have my pigs in has windows that are raised off the floor and I sort of feel like maybe the draft in the room is actually higher up than the foor, could this be, or is that not really the reason why the cage should be raised?

my piggies cages are on the floor. My floors are carpeted. They are fine. I have 3 windows in the room and this room is the warmest room for them. you are just fine just as long as the temps are cool and warm.

Also sometimes people raise the cage for easier access to the pigs
