Are radishes good for guinea pigs - I checked guinealynx but do not see it listed. Thanks in advance!

They are more like treats. I think you're only supposed to give it to them like once every two weeks or once a month or something like that. I tried to give my piggies some radishes once but they just ate the green leavy thing at the top of it and after taking one bite of the radish they just left it there. hehehe. My piggies are weird though. They won't touch peppers either. I've repeatedly put green peppers, yellow peppers, orange peppers, red peppers....like 20 times and none of them will touch them!

Radishes a couple times per month is ok. My girls actually like them. But sometimes I think I have strange pigs. They like green onions, chives, and leeks.

Thanks - I tried corn husks today - the guys pretty much yawned at them - they pretty much yell at me now if I don't supply their daily allotment of fresh grass:rolleyes:

I got corn husks on Sunday and they went nuts over them! Ly where is your sticky thread on food? I can't find it. I actually printed it out.

My pigs don't really like them which is strange because they basicly eat every veggie known to man!

I have my piggies corn with corn husks on them and all they did was eat the corn husks and left the corn! I have strange piggies. They don't like radishes, peppers, or squash. I keep putting peppers and squash in there and they won't touch them...not even a taste! Little stinkers. They like cucumber though. Their favorites are romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley, watercress, (orange slices on occassion), apples, carrots, and cucumber. I try to vary their diet but they pretty much only eat those things. Picky boys and girls they are!
