My girls have been pooping alot lately. Some days it seems like poop is everywhere, other days aren't so bad. Anyways, I think that they're pooping so much at times that they're stepping on them or moving their stuff & smooshing the poop.

Anyways, I was just looking poop sizes up and GL said that if a poop was pitted to be concerned. What in the world does that mean? If someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. I guess I just want to make sure I know what I'm looking for.

Thanks, Jenn

Pitted would be if it's dimpled or looks like there are little dips in the surface. You want the poops to be smooth and regular shaped. I think if they're pitted your piggies are a bit dehydrated, so there isn't as much liquid able to leave the body.

Hmmm, I didn't know any of that. Interesting.

I think my girls poop everywhere just to make me clean it up. :D And they move it around, too. Some days there's tons of poop in their loft. Other days, it's all under the ramp. If pig poop was worth money, I'd be a millionaire.

For real! There should be a piggy poop to $$ conversion table somewhere. We'd all be rich!

Sometimes one of my girls makes these itty bitty bitty poops. Like a small grain of rice or smaller. The first time I saw them I thought they were bugs; like little beetles or something.
Anyone else ever seen or heard of these?

Coco's poops are smaller than my other girls but she's still a baby and not fully grown. I just didn't know what it meant when it said pitted poops and wanted to make sure I knew what it was in case I ever saw it.
