Question about treating mange mites

I recently got a new piggie and I'm a bit concerned that she may have mange mites. She has dandruff and seems to get annoyed when certain parts of her back are touched, but doesn't have any hair falling out or scabs as far as I have seen. I have heard that in addition to treating the pig with Ivermectin that there cage must be cleaned out everyday, and that anything that is not metal must be soaked in bleached everyday as well (for 6 weeks). However, when I've looked online I haven't found any information about treating mange mites that says the cage and all accessories must be soaked in bleach everyday.

I'm just hoping someone can clear this up for me as far as how often the piggie's cage should be cleaned and which method is the best. I already have two other pigs that I'll be introducing her to after her quarintine period is over and I'm thinking about possibly treating them for mites as well since it seems so prevelant in guinea pigs (although, they don't seem to have any of the more obvious symptoms).

Every day sounds a little excessive. Personally I would do a complete disinfect of teh living quarters with each ivermectin/ ivomec treatment, but post at Guinea Lynx https://www.guinealynx.info/forums/ as there are people with much more experience of mites there.

Good luck with your pigger.

Alright, I will post the question in their forum. Thanks for responding and wishing me luck with my new pig :)
