I've found some great new puppy pads. They are from Arm & Hammer, so they have baking soda in them to help with the odor. They also have a great absorbency core, which I have found is better than the cottony stuff in regular puppy pads, and they are scratch/claw resistant. I'm sure teeth could get through them, but hopefully they aren't in an area where you pig could chew on them.

They've worked fabulously for me under my vet bed - no odor, no wetness. I'm sure they are more expensive, but they are larger than most puppy pads and last longer. I think it's worth it. I bought mine at Target, and they were on sale, so it was $9.00 for 36.

I don't know about this case but breathing in baking soda from bedding with it added caused respiratory infections in several of my gerbils.

About how big are the puppy pads. That's a great deal, and I'm getting kind of tired of spending so much for carefresh.
