Sexing Pretty sure my "girl" piggie is actually a boy.

So, after having Stella for a little over a month, a few weeks ago I started to have suspicions that "she" was actually a "he." After checking a few times, just to be sure, I'm about 99% sure that Stella is actually a boy...

My question is, for any of the others out there that have had this happen... Do you guys change your piggies names? I may just end up with a "Boy Named Stella" (a homage to a "Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash, haha).

I'm glad I figured this out now, though. I had been looking for an adoptable female friend for Stella, and am glad I continued checking to be sure of the sex of Stella before getting a female and ending up with a poor preggo piggie!

i dont change my pets names if i find out they are different sex's but its up to the person really....one of my guinea pigs is called sheldon and he is a male but i call him shelly all the time. With my hamster i thought they were girls and gave them male names anyway...but they are both boys in the end its up to the person really, but if your piggie knows its name i wouldnt change it

haha. He does know his name, so that's why I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna change it. Every morning when I come home from work (I work over nights) I say "Stella!" very silly like and he wheeks and popcorns in excitement. I guess a boy named Stella isn't too bad
