Pregnant piggie and wandering when.

Well it turns out I had a pregnant piggie but not the one I thought was pregnant. I have been able to feel and see the babies move for about 5 days now. And I am wandering how can I tell when she is going to have them withtin a day or so . If you have any information that can help me please let me know. I am hoping she has them before wensday i go on vacation.

It should be very soon. If she doesn't have them before you go on vacation, I would be very wary of leaving her while she has her babies incase there are any complications. If you can't stay home, I would leave her at your vet so she is on constant watch.

She is going to stay with my mother why we are on vacation so she will be with someone who knows what she is doing and will get her to vet if she has any complications.

It's possible to feel babies moving up to 2 weeks before delivery though. She doesn't look quite big enough unless she expecting only 1 or 2 small pups. Check her pelvic bones, they should start opening a few days before delivery.

I checked her pelvic bones and I can fit almost my whole thumb there. So I am guessing she is going to have them soon?

Yes, she will. Once the pelvic bones are 2 fingers apart, (lets say index and middle) or close to it, she will have them within the next 24 hours or the next day. Keep checking her pelvic bones.
