anyone.................

Sorry, I can't see the picture! It says "login expired" - do you have any other option to upload the photo?

try this............. (broken link removed)

Still says login expired. Is this picture on your desktop? Try uploading it with www.photobucket.com Copy and paste the image URL from photobucket (once the pic has been uploaded) into this post.

Stick to one thread please. Continue posting in this one

So when you adopted her, you didn't check to make sure she was a "male"? Confirming the sex should be the first step any time you adopt a pet. Now that she is home, you figured out she was a girl instead of a boy, right?

If she's a girl, then she could definitely be pregnant. The most obvious way to tell is sudden weight gain and her sides will start exploding out. Read this thread for more information: https://guineapigcages.com/threads/5751/

ok this it (broken link removed)

Hm.... she looks quite rounded. I think there are high chances of her being pregnant. You showed us a pic of her genitals and thet did look like they belonged to a female

he was sexed by women that worked at the shelter she said that most likey it was boy but because of the age there 100% but then she checked again and said it was a boy

im bringing her too the vet on monday too be sure

Ok. If she is a female, then will you get her male buddy neutered? That's the thing... you can't really trust anybody. In the future please check the sex yourself/by the vet

ofcourse ill get him neutered i cant spilt them up.They love each other:)

She looks quite pregnant to me.

She dosn't nessesarilly look pregnant.

My three year old is fatter around the edges than that.

yeah but she is 3 months

Well, I don't know. Definetilly get it checked out at the vet.

Sorry you're having trouble so soon.

Females can get pregnant at 3 1/2 weeks of age. My suggestion is to split them up now, but assume she is pregnant. Divide the cage with a grid, and make sure the male's half is closed so he can not climb over.

Since she is so young, and probably pregnant, please feed her unlimited alfalfa hay. Also, weighing her daily will help you and your vet know what is going on.

Also, as previously stated, it is helpful to post on the same thread about your piggy. Don't start a new topic, please.

Good Luck.

Wow a rescue that doesn't know how to sex piggies! I find it so easy.. and when I used to have babies, I could tell the day they were born! Good luck with her.

I think if she is pregnant, then she isn't very far along. My Luna, just gave birth, and when I noticed she was pregnant, she was about twice that size. She will start looking like she swallowed a tangerine whole. And about 10-14 days before she gives birth, you should be able to see or feel the babies moving around inside the mom.

Good Luck!
