Pouch Idea

I was thinking about how to make a pouch to carry my piggy in and i was wondering what you guys thought so heres my idea. I was going to take an old hooded sweatshirt and cut the top of the pocket open and sow the sides shut so that the pigs can stick there head out the top, but wont fall out the sides. If this sounds like a bad idea, or a good one please post. Thanks in advance.

It may be a good thing, but I'd make the pocket bigger. They could fall out. You can also use a baby carrier, just sew the leg holes shut. Nice idea though! =)

You could make it the same shape as a sweatshirt pocket but add 2 or 3 inches.

Try The Ferret store site, I know for a fact that the make a little sling for ferrets, and you can use it for your pigs too!

do the guinea pigs like being constrained to the pouches? Does it hurt them in any way? Wouldn't they dislike being in a tight spot up in the air where they can't move? I really have no clue...could someone please answer these questions for me? I'd like to know the answers before i think of getting one.

I think that guinea pigs would rather be in a pouch of some sort then being carried regularly. When I take my pigs into a different room (Like if I want to hold them while I watch TV) I always buddle them up in a blanket. I think they feel safe and secure that way.
