Potty-training, sounds workable

I think my pig loves to sleep where he poops, the place he naps has A LOT of poops!!! So, I took off its house ( it's very dirty and hardly can clean it ) and place a piece of folded newspaper at the corner of the cage. Then I put the poops in between the newspaper folding ( Well, I put quite around 12 poops ) and placed timothy hay around the newspaper. Then my cavy starts to wonder around and saw that newspaper... and made himself comfortable there... heh, he slept there and pooped there... same thing... a LOT of poops !!! I'm going to change it tomorrow...

Then, I started to have this idea... putting him in an encased surroudings on the floor... and place a piece of folded newspaper... this time I put some poops and some hay which he's urinated on top of the newspaper... and place Joojoo inside it. After a few hours I found that he urinated on the newspaper and pooped quite a few on the newspaper too... only 3 are left outside the newspaper.. wow... isn't this amazing?

I think it's how you treat the pig the first time when it reaches your home... because I placed a box inside the cage and the pig keeps on staying in there... then he pooped and pooped.. then maybe a few 3 days you can try taking the box out and placing poops on the newspaper and hay... hoping that the pig will think that that's his home... then he'll start urinating and so on... then only try on the floor... That's what I observed... I'm not sure whether my theory is correct... heh.. but it's fun ! I think my pig is a bit intelligent too... heh... he keeps running away from me!! hahahhaa... just joking
