My Salem- I brought home after learning she was 6 hours away from being euthanized. Now, I've had her a couple days and tonight, she's been crying off and on alot and now she just plops down on her belly and gets up to drink water and plops back down. I'm not sure if I wore her out or if she's just not feeling good. I was told she was housed with a 6- 8 week old male. Yes, I chewed some butt, but I was told there was no way he could get her pregnant. I took Salem home and here we are. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow in case. I lost my Bailey about 3 weeks ago and I'll be damned if I lose this one as quickly as I lost Bailey. Now, my question: what part of putting a boar in with a sow especially if they're not litter mates, one's 4 months old ones eh... 6-8 weeks old, sounds like a good idea? REALLY??!! And yes I'm very upset because I have a feeling Salem's chances are slim considering her age.
