i recently got my 2nd pig and she will jump straight into the air and squeal then practicly flip over on her back. Although i think it might just be popcorning my mom is a little worried since we just got done with the ivermectin on the 1st pigger.(which popcorns like a bronco)

sounds like popcorning to me. this doesnt at all sound like a symptom of mites. however, if your other piggy DOES have mites, they should not be in the same cage until the other piggy is completely done with her ivermectin dosages.

ya seems like popcorning. I havent heard jumping as a sympton of mites...and if your other piggie has mite they definatley shouldnt be together!

dont worry they are not together

I agree with what they said. Just sounds like a severe case of the happy pig!

lol, yea. ccm said it all!

I agree, it sounds like popcorning to me!!!

Yea well i think we've all determined its popcorning!!! lol

One of mine just started squeeling/squeeking when she popcorns! It scared me the first few times she did it!

lol. i saw my friends piggy popcorning and it scared the heck out of me. but now im prepared for when my girls do it.

I love it when they popcorn!! Its cute and it means they're happy!!! = D

sounds like popcorning. just watch for other signs of mites like excessive scrathing or loss of hair.

Mine are too podgy to popcorn!

lol, piglet. I can just imagine a fat piggy thrying to throw itself into the air. LOL!

he he. Well, I think both are over a year old as well, so they are getting a little old to popcorn. Furlong is 2lb 12!, and I've seen him do a mini popcorn. Sometimes I put in a loo roll in the cage, and he looks soooo cute when he jumps over it =)

a loo roll? what is that?

A toilet paper roll, I believe. That's so cute, Piglet!!!

oh, i get it now!

Sorry, british word...
