I am working with Ken Brocx of Hamsterific fame on a new kid-friendly website about Guinea Pigs. It is called Cavypop.com and is up and running, though is still very much under construction. One thing I am in charge of is gathering pictures for the page to explain breeds, colours, patterns, coats, etc. A lot of people from other GP boards have shared pictures and I am very grateful to all. However, there are still a few examples I need and if anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it ETERNALLY! You can answer here, or better yet, email any cotributions to [email protected].

Here is what I need, though any and all pictures welcome:

Teddy
Coronet
Alpaca
Merino
Baldwin
Unique mixed-breeds

Colors: (selfs preferred)
Lilac
Beige
Buff
Saffron
Silver
Cream

Patterns: (any breed)
Brindle
Dalmation

Coats: (any breed)

Black-eyed White

Your pig's name will be included with the photo. Please include the breed(s), color(s), pattern, coat (all that apply) along with the piggy's name in your reply. Thank you so much ahead of time for your help!!!!

I believe Tashagurl has a lilac, my Pippin may be a brindle, I'm not positive though. I don't know how to put my pictures in a post, but feel free to look at my gallery. If you see any interesting colors on my boys, I'd be pleased to take nicer pictures of them.

Doccolittle- I think Pippin is an agouti- do you have any clearer pictures of him? He's a doll!

Dagwellismypiggy- thank you. I will use that second photo of Atticus- I will tyr to photoshop his eyes if you like. He's is quite a fluffy thing, huh?! A doll! Thanks so much!!!! I love the name, btw. Being from Alabama, that's my all-time favorite book!

I hope to have this finished this week- so will let you all know when the breed page goes up!!! Thanks again!!!

Question, did you see Pippin or Cocoa? Pippin is my abbyssinian, Cocoa's my short-haired.

Wow! That's a lot of piggies!!! I saved a few, but if you have more of Harrette and Holly (she looks satin- is she?) and Prince and King- well any really great full-body shots you would like to share. That's a really nice album you have set up- impressive! Wow! That's a lot of piggies! (Did I say that already? LOL!)

Here are some pics of my guinea pigs past an present.

This is my eldest daughter Hannah and Tommy who we lost early last year. He is sadly missed :-((

This is Bobby on the left who is sadly not with us any more and his brother Fudge who is now 4 years old.



This is our latest addition Cocoa we have had him since November.

Well I dont have anymore pics of Holly cause I just recently lost her on Jan 10th. She either got hurt or had a birth defect. She was only 3 weeks old but at least she passed on peacefully in my arms. Yes I can get some more pics of Harriette. She is a Silkie. Ill gather up some pics and email them to you. I like the Idea that you are doing Jen and hope it goes well too.

Thank you. Im going to find a way to take the blurryness out of Holly's pics. she is different from her mum and sisters. I know that her dad is either Prince, Gizmo or Checker. Holly's grandmum is a smothe hair which is Muffy in the photo gallery also her grandad is the fluffy one name Scruffles which is in the gallery too. They are no where near checker and gizmo cause they have rosettas all through their hair and Squeakers daughters has them. Either tonight or tomorrow Ill have more pics of Harriette and email them too. I go into work at 4pm yuck. Ill be home sometime around 10:15 tonight.
