Hi all!
I'm going to put together a small cook-book for piggies to raise funds for the shelter I'm setting up.
Please leave a recipe, and your name (optional) so I can try it out then add it! Thanks :D
All contributors get an e-copy c:
So far we have:
~Guinea Pig Sushi
~Guinea Pig Honey-Joys (No real honey tho)

Aww I wish I could buy one when your finished!! But I man stuck over in the silly uk! :( xx lol xx sounds brilliant tho xx

Here's a simple recipe for you!

Guinea pig Healthy Veg & Fruit Ice Cube Treats

- Pour water HALFWAY in a ice cube tray
- Put in any veg / fruit
- Fill it again with water
- Freeze it

You should probably bring a small freezer to the fund raiser.

@SweetCavy Thankyou! I'll definitely add this one! :)

@Rach84 If you contribute a recipe I can send you an e-copy!

Here is one I found on the internet, I don't know if it's any good. I haven't tired it but thought you might like it

Ingredients
1 x cup flour
2 x cups good quality guinea pig pellets
2 x tablespoons honey
6 x tablespoons canola oil
2/3 x cup water
Directions Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F
Place all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix until well combined.
Roll the mix flat and cut into desired shapes – using a shape cutter if required
Place on a baking sheet and cook for approx. 20 mins, or until firm
Remove from oven, cool on rack
Feed to your piggies – but of course, as a treat and not too much at a time

Edited by bpatters: Don't use this one. GPs shouldn't have flour, and they don't need honey.

Ha, ha. Every time I see the title of this post, I think it is referring to recipes made from guinea pigs! Ya know, like chicken recipes or beef recipes.
-- heaven forbid! --

Maybe "Recipes for Piggies" would be a better way to word it, lol.
