Either that or look sumthing up on the internet about the condition... like maybe google the symptoms...

I think call the fire department like everyone else is saying but as someone else said dont call 911 it ties up phone lines. Call the local fire departments number and talk to them it doesn't hurt to tell them your situation even if you can not find the cat anymore. They will give you answers you need.

I asked my mother (shes a fire fighter) and says to definitly call your local fire department.
 
You don't need to start two threads on the same subject or to ask for help on another thread. It wastes space on the forum. You have to give people time to answer as well, sometimes people don't see threads right away. I am closing this thread.
