I have two boars, Butterscotch and Espresso. A couple of times a day they will run around rumbling, chasing, humping (Butterscotch mainly), and butt sniffing. I know that this is normal behavior, but while they are doing this stuff they are popcorning and wheeking, just like they do when it's time for food. Is this how they play? It confuses me LOL. I am just a worried piggy mom, that doesn't want anybody to get hurt. Thanks!

That's all perfectly normal. They are just testing dominance (rumbling and humping) and playing (chasing and popcorning).

It sounds like a perfect match.

Welcome to the forums! I see this is your first time posting here.

Thanks for the input and the welcome :D, now I can stop being such an overprotective pig momma.

My 4 boys do that all day long. I would think they would get tired, but they don't! It's really funny when they are in a line chasing each other.

my 2 girls do that! I think it's completely normal.
