So here is the new munchkin. His name at CC was Grant. Any ideas for what I should call him?

Awwww he's cute. Sorry I'm not help for names, but something soft would fit him. He's like butter and cream.

Yes, butter and cream - like sugar cookie or cookie for short.

He reminds me of Butterscotch or Cracker Jack. Or some kind of pasta. That's how my Rigatoni Al Dente Sinatra got his name.....How about Alfredo, Tortellini, Linguine? Captain Crunch? He's really cute!

Haha Pinky, he DOES have the coloring of butterscotch, you're right! With every pig, I have the debate with myself about whether to go with a human name (George, Wilbur, Benjamin, etc), a cutesy name (Bubbles, Fluffykins, Chubster, etc), a descriptive name (visual/personality), or something else altogether. Sometimes, it's based on a name I read somewhere that I liked the sound of or the name someone else had for their own pet that I liked.

He's a generally friendly pig. Not as skiddish as some I've adopted before. He licks (but mostly chews on) my fingers and he doesn't mind me petting him in the cage, even only having been here 24 hours. When the rescue lady tried to cut his nails, he screamed like a banshee before she even started! LOL

He is so adorable! Congrats on your new piggy! Maybe you could name him Scott or Scotty? I kind of thought of it from Butterscotch. :)

I'm not a fan of cutesy names but the ones that are resonating in my head are: Morrisey, Felix, or Oscar. He keeps rearranging his cage though so I think he would be more of a Felix than an Oscar LOL.

I like names that are not human, only because you can get away with anything when it comes to guinea pigs. Mine are Snickerdoodle, started as a joke but stuck and my husband named our baby pig Tuxedo because he is all black with a white foot. We call them Tuxie and Doodles. I love guinea pig names!

awwww he looks so cute! I personally like cutesy names but if you want more human names I would go with felix as well. He looks more like a Felix.

I was in bed attempting to sleep and the name Nemo came to me. Now, he doesn't exactly look like the fish Nemo as in he isn't bright orange but he is kind of stripey and he does have the white. Thoughts?

Grant with out a doubt :)

I love 'real' human names for piggies. You can probably tell as mine are Ronnie and Roxy (or Veronica and Roxanne when they are being naughty haha).
