Pigs for adoption - NY/VT/MA

Oh, my gosh, I have never seen anything so adorable! There are so few piggies in AZ. If I was anywhere near you I'd take 2 more males. I am putting my cavy cage together this weekend. I am making one big enough for 4 piggies. ( I have 2). That way I am prepared for when I can rescue 2 more pigs. I keep checking with our shelter here but no pigs. Alot of rats. My daughter resuces the rats. She is up to 4.

For names my daughter and I have come up with these..
Patches,Peaches,Rum,Beverly(for the one that looks like a beaver),Mickey,Shurey(sure ree),Penny,Daisy,(with Daisy could go with Bo and Luke.. from Dukes of Hazard.lol)there is always Duke and Dutches.

That is all I can come up with that poped when I seen their pigtures.

I am in LOVE with baby #3. Have you sexed them yet? (I know it is a bit early). That black/pinkish white ear thing has really got me. He is so darn cute.

Baby #2 has died. Please keep the other two wee ones in your thoughts. They have been loosing weight instead of gaining. They are eating a bit of critical care, though, so I am hoping they can pull through.

Oh Amy, I am so sorry. Those babies are so adorable and with you at their side I hope the other two survive. Baby three has gotten to my heart. I hope the 2 remaining babies can make it.

Baby 3 made it overnight but sometime between when I left to teach classes this morning and got back, she passed away. So now there is just Baby 1 left. This little one seems to be the strongest of the bunch and I am hoping will make it. He weighed in at 67 grams just now, which is not much. But he has been eating some critical care and I hope he can build up his strength and pull through.

Hi WendyK, Baby1 is hanging in, eating lots of critical care from me, I am hoping he'll pull through. He does have a good appetite and is pretty active.
