I'm going to be getting two sugar gliders within the next few weeks, so I thought I'd better start planning on an major increase in fruit and veggie bills. ^.^ I'M SO HAPPY! *dances*
I really don't mind going to the grocery store more often, but I'd rather not have a million half-eaten veggies lying around.
So, does anyone know what some good fresh fruits and veggies are that I can give to both my piggies and my gliders? Gliders are omnivores and Piggies are herbivores, so they can't eat a lot of the same stuff and have really different dietary needs. For instance, Gliders are okay with bananas, while piggies are... not so much (for me, a flat out no.). Gliders can have cooked foods with no problem (canned fruits and veggies, baby food, cooked eggs, etc.), and it's not good for piggies. The only things I can think of that would work well for both are apples and pears, but even then, I can't give them to my piggies very often.
Can anyone think of some foods?
