I'm in St.Louis, but that seems quite a drive. I'm sorry I couldn't help much, unless you would want to meet up somewhere if you don't have any other options.

I think you'll want to ask friends or family members so that you can know the people you're giving the cavies to over the holidays. Personally, I wouldn't just give them to anyone! Also, try looking around at vets' offices--some offer boarding.

Yeah, I agree mncavylover. Somebody else on the boards was trying to get people to give them their pigs: I forgot to edit my post before I had to get off.I was going to add exactly what you said. Parents. Sigh.
