I have my boys separated. In my experience males just don't get along, neutered or not. Today I had my baby out and running around and he was cussing out Oreo per usual. Well he decided to climb into Oreo's cage and try and beat him up...<sigh> I separated them and put him up for a while and let Oreo out. Oreo went over to Casper's cage and cussed Casper out for a while and Casper tried to chew through his bars and bite at Oreo. After a while I put Oreo up and let Casper back out because Casper was just frenzied. Oreo climbed out of his cage and they got into a fight and Oreo sliced open Casper's foot before I could catch them... <grrrrrrr>

I put Oreo up and tended to Casper’s foot. It's fine. There was no big gash. I cleaned him up and waited for the blood to stop and put him in his cage... This was at 9 last night. It's now 1:20 am and they're STILL clicking and rumbling at each other...

I have and had no intention of introducing them to each other, other than through the cage. I'm so irritated right now. In the morning I'm going to make a top to Oreo's cage. Which I hate to do, he's always been able to just come and go as he pleases. But he just can't anymore with the new Guinea pig. He was never this bad with Ludwig. Of course Ludi was 3 times his size.

As soon as I get my porch up I'm going to make bigger cages out doors during the day, and have small nighttime cages.

I wish just once I would get a pair of guinea pigs that would get along like everyone else’s.....
