Here is a close-up of my little guy. The other pic is his cage. It's so small :-( I hate it but I don't have any money. I have $20....will that get me anywhere? If anyone has some spare cage stuff (I don't know if this is against the rules) tell me maybe we can arrange something. But enjoy the cute pics.

Um, yeah that is a VERY small cage.
You CAN make a c&c cage for under 20 dollars, it is possible. Look around for sign shops and call EACH AND EVERY ONE. Ask for a 4x8 sheets, and don't buy any of them for more than 10 dollars. I get mine for 8 bucks, so I bet you can find one near you. Then wait for Target to have a sale- they ALWAYS have a 6grid set for 10 bucks. This has 24 grids and 24 connectors. You will probably spend about 20-25 bucks, but then again you can make a cage all the way up to a 2x6. Please look around for this, so your piggy can live in a bigger cage. Also, add more hidey houses. I know you can do this!

Sorry if I came off a bit rude! Welcome to the forums, as I see its only your 3rd post. Your piggy is adorable!! Do you give him a LOT of floortime and cuddles, ect?

Look for free political signs. Ask around, someone's got to have some.

Also, you can find 24 grids on sale at Target for $9.99 sometimes.

Please look around, and I hope that you've got hay, pellets, toys, veggies, etc. for the pig. Just making sure, not to come off as offensive. Sorry in advance if I do!

Welcome to the forums.

I agree, that cage is way too small, and you should get something else as soon as you possibly can. That way he can run around, and you can add some toys and hiding places to stimulate him without taking up all the space.

I'd also strongly suggest getting him some company although you'd need a bigger cage first as that cage is definitely not big enough for one, never mind two. Have a read of this page http://www.cavyspirit.com/sociallife.htm if you need convincing that a solitary life is not for a guinea pig.
