Just wanted to say that I'm excited because I was able to use the store credit card to make an awesome veggie run for the animals at the pet store I work in!

The only thing that anybody ever gets for our pigs is red bell pepper, so I grabbed some green ones, some lettuce, and some cilantro. I gave them all big salads, but for now they just seem scared of the veggies.

I also got good stuff for our herbavorous reptiles. We have so much variety now, I hope it encourages my coworkers to feed more fresh foods!

Small steps forward, but it makes me happy.

That's awesome that your store sells vegetables! I've never seen a pet store that sells fresh greens.

I think OP meant they work in a pet store and managed to buy veggies for the animals there to enjoy using store money. Which is pretty great!

Aha, oops. But still a rare sight to have vegetables served to critters in a pet store.

I never try red bell pepper are they good for baby guinea pigs too and are they spicy?

@MetalicPheonix red bell peppers are the non-spicy kind, and they're great for guinea pigs because they have no calcium and a lot of vitamin C. My pigs love them. Green bell peppers are good too, but don't have nearly as much vitamin C.
