Just wondering, because I usually red no petstore cages ever because they are too small.
In germany however most of the bigger shops do have cages that are pretty much the size of a 2x4 Grid CC. And there is even an bigger cage available (they usually don´t have them, but they can order them). Of course building a cage myself is always a lot cheaper. But you could get a petstore cage here that meets the minimal requirments.
Is that different in your petstores?

Here (Switzerland) it`s the same situation: you can actually buy cages of an appropriate size from petstores, as long as you have 2 or maximum 3 piggies. For more, you need to build something.

For some reason not understandable to me, there is nothing like C & C cages available, though MANY people would be glad to work with such a system (me included) as not everybody is able to build with wood.

In germany I have seen the grids, but the cloroplast is difficult. But in a german forum someone got that, too I think.
But its more expansive (both) as far as I can tell.

I haven't seen many cages that meet the recommended sizes here in the UK, but a couple. I still prefer to use C&C cages - much cheaper, easy to expand and build on and easier to clean out.

If you want to build a C&C cage, you can always use tarpaulin or a shower curtain as a substitute to coroplast.

I can get coroplast here in the Netherlands but not grids, not for a decent price anyway.

As for cages, usually stores only carry small cages and the size they advertise is the outside size, not the actual size the pigs can use. I have a big store bought cage, but I hopped the border to Germany to get it. (Fressnapf.de)

The zooplus website does carry one or two cages big enough for two, maybe three pigs, and they deliver in a lot of European countries.

I think coroplast is available just about anywhere as long as you know what it is called in your language.

The midwest is 8-ish square feet, that's the only one I can think of. Only way to get a big enough cage from a pet store here is a playpen with a tarp. Honestly sometimes I see rabbit cages that are pretty scary.
