The fleece I was using in my cage was always too big for it, I just never got around to trimming it to size. Well I finally did, and I have a couple of sizable remnants left over that I'd like to use for some extra absorption in the corners where they 'go' most. I've currently just got one of the remnant folded over and in their hidey, it's the perfect size, but I wondered what anyones thoughts where on sewing some towel in between the remnant and making a pad?
My current bedding is newspaper (really more for my piece of mind than anything), towel, then fleece. So would putting towel between some fleece and making a spare pad make a difference, or is just some extra fleece enough?
