I was wondering if it was okay to feed guinea pigs parsely? I heard cilantro is fine, but I am not sure about parsley. How much should parsley should I give them? Does it contain Vit. C, like cilantro? Thanks so much!!!

That's a great idea! How cute.....LiciaMommycott said:I have a small clay flowerpot in their cage. I turn it upside down and put parsley and cliantro into the hole on the bottom of the pot (cut stem side down). The leaves then stick up in the air like a tree and the pigs have fun stretching up to pull pieces out.

You can give pretty much as little or big of amount as you feel they will eat, though they should of course be eating other veggies, too. Red pepper is also an excellent source of vitamin c. I have not heard anything against feeding parsley (as in the amount), so if anyone does, please enlighten me. It is also relatively cheap! I get a large bunch for $0.33 at my grocery store. Thanks, and happy piggy parsley eating! =)
