i'm thinking of making a customized cage for my 4 piggies since i can't find any grids here in the philippines (i' still looking though)

i'll be using wire mesh and i'm thinking of painting it. i'm worried coz they might chew on the wire.

is there any kind of paint that is safe or shouldn't i paint it at all?

how about the wire mesh? is there kind if wire mesh that can be harmful to my piggies?

I would not paint it incase it does not stick. Try and use some material on the outside of the cage to decorate it. If they do eat the paint you never know how sick it will make them.
