Oxbow Western Timothy hay

I bought a bag of Kaytee Forti-Diet from Target that Fudgy didn't like. However, I got to know a local pet store owner pretty well and he was willing to take in whatever I had left of the bag and give me an item for free. So he gave me a big bag of Oxbow Western Timothy hay. I told him I thought young cavies (Fudgy's only 3 months) need to eat alfalfa (which is what I feed her at home) but he says since I'm already feeding alfalfa pellets from Oxbow Cavy Performance, a bit of timothy hay could be a supplement. I didn't want to ask him for something else since he's already doing a favor for me but I thought adult pigs eat timothy, not babies? Any comments?

Babies eat timothy too! I'm sure Fudgy would love some Oxbow timmy hay.

It's good for pups and young cavies to have both grass hay and alfalfa.
