So my Piggie is on Batryl still for a couple more days and is doing OK I think. Now I have noticed she has seemed a TAD bit less active and not begging for food as much but is still eating. She is drinking lots of water. The big thing that is a little different tho is that she seems to be bigger in the belly. Wondering if this is a side effect of Batryl??

Not usually. Keep an eye on her, watching for signs of gas or bloat. You might want to go get some infant simethicone to have on hand in case she gets gassy.

Why would she be gassy? Only been feeding her pellets, green leaf, peppers and occasionally a carrot.

She may not be. But you've said her belly is larger and she's not as active. That would be enough to make me watch her for gas or bloat. And it's better if you read up on it before you have to deal with it. If a pig develops bloat, it's a medical emergency, and you've got a battle to save her life on your hands. You want to watch for any symptoms so you can deal with them early, before it progresses to bloat.

Guinea pigs don't usually get constipated. Can you get the simethicone in case she's developing gas/bloat? Any pharmacy would have it.

If she can't poop that's bad and she needs to see an exotics vet asap. Here's some helpful info: https://www.guinealynx.info/anorexia.html
If there is no vet option try the infant simethicone batters mentioned (will be at any drug store) and put a vibrating toothbrush (or anything similar that vibrates) under her belly, which can help break up gas.

Tummy still feels a little big and not begging for food but is eating everything. Pooping is maybe slowed down a little from the meds. I think I only have 2 days left of it(hopefully). She could just be mad at me for giving her the aweful meds as I have to force it in her. Eating hay and pellets like a champ. Maybe she needs a good poop!! Lol

If she's eating, she's ok. Just keep on watching to make sure things don't go south.

Yes she is eating. Just more sketchy of me now I think because when I give her food I give her the medicine which maybe I shouldn't have done [emoji19]. And maybe she is getting fat! [emoji87] nnoooooo! Lol. OK that you ladies for helping me sort out my worries and questions. Hopefully I don't need to be a bother for a long time now!
