Made our first loft today which will hopefully contain most of the hay.
It's a large samla box from ikea and a coro ramp with a fleece flipper for traction.
They figured it out pretty quickly with the help of a carrot lure!

The box fits just right so that it's sturdy on my 2 grid wide cage with just the lip on the edges of the cage.
My pigs are not climbers or jumpers but I'm also modifying the box lid, cutting most of the middle out the make a lip for the loft so no one takes a tumble.
Cage is sparce in the pics because i just cleaned it out

Is it attached to the grids at all? I,would be worried it would come loose if the cage shifted at all. But it looks really nice.

it is not attached. I had to squeeze it in there and gave it a good shaking since i was nervous about i coming down but it's really snug.
I imagine if it the tote didn't fit so snuggly then holes could be drilled in the sides to allow for zip ties or something like that to secure it to the cage sides
