I noticed people tend to look at craigslist. Well I have used another website. it is kijiji.com or .ca. It is a bad website from my opinion. It is the website where I got my two guinea pigs from. I had got them for free from people who were moving and said they did not have room for them. They were in glass cages which were much to small they could barly take a few steps, being feed food that had seeds, dirty cages, over grown nails and one had a spur on her foot. It makes me so mad that some one could do that to some thing so innocent. Heres the pictures they posted in the ad. The skinny pig is named Pebo (he is my sisters) and the white and brown is mine she is named Guinny. Im sorry I am new and am not sure how to post pictures. As you can see in the pictures the nails on Pebo are obviously over grown. We have trimmed them down so much althoguh he wasn't very happy about it.

I'd get them checked out at a vet, I'm not sure the black one should be missing so much fur? (could be wrong)

The black one like she stated is a skinny.

A trip to the vet is very highly recommended for all new piggies.... just to get in the filing system of your vet even, so they can help see you if the vet trip becomes an emergency.

Awww they're cuties, I love Pebo's lil orange tuft of fur.

Do you plan to have Pebo neutered?

Mummy - that's a hairless guinea pig i.e. skinny. They are bred to have no hair.

Skinnies seem to be popping up more and more :(

I hate freecycle too. At least some cities do not allow free animals to be given away on there.

yeah i agree skinny pigs seem to start getting popular. its sad though people can't even take care of any other breed properly and now they are buying skinny pigs and being just a mean to them. and pet stores near me charge at least 80 for a skinny pig.

when we got these two the skinny pig was less skitsh because he was handled more

Oops, sorry. I'm not too up on my guinea pig breeds!...I thought skinny literally meant skinny/little under weight!
