anyone got any other ideas to use besides coroplast so that there are some sides on a cage so the piggies dont fling out shavings?

I just used left over pieces of coroplast in those trouble areas and zip-tied them in place. Others have used things like linoleum.

Cardboard will work ok in trouble spots too but the only drawback is they tend to chew and pee on it so you would have to replace it occasionally. I use fleece for bedding, it not only cuts out bedding costs once you have enough for several changes but it also makes it to where they have no bedding to throw out of the cage.

You can cover the cardboard with a shower curtain.

Linoleum works well for me.
