Oranges for pig?

So it is not dangerous to give orange? Some breeders told me it is, and I have also given the same advice because of what I have been told????

Oranges aren't dangerous to guinea pigs, but they can cause mouth sores if given too much. A slice every now & then won't harm them at all.

Mine don't really like oranges, but they do like clementines. I prefer clementines myself too.
