So I recently got a female Guinea pig. I’ve tried to look everywhere why this would be happening and I have found nothing so I’ve decided to post here. But their poop looks ORANGE!! The last owner told me they didn’t have time for them and their cage looked awful. When she first got to my house her poop looked a little red and now it’s orange. She drank ALOT of water when I first got her. I gave her some greens as well cause she seems to be sick. But I’m making a vet appointment in the morning when I wake up. I’m just worried something is wrong. I haven’t givin her anything orange to eat and the last owner didn’t know they ate veggies, so I really don’t know why this is happening! Yellow peppers or orange-tinted vitamin C drops are possibilities. The crying would concern me. I think a checkup and fecal test would be a great idea.

I gave him to someone that could bring them to the vet asap! Cause atm I just started a job and couldn’t bring them. But the person hasn’t updated me on it but I know they brought the Guinea to the vet!

Oh good, please let us know what the vet has to say. I’m wishing you the best, health concerns are so nerve-wracking!
