so, i have 3 boys house together in a 2X5: kramer is 8 mos old and very passive; george is 5; newman is 4, and pretty skittish with the other pigs - when he feels the least little bit threatened, he screams like a little girl, then whimpers pathetically :boggled: honestly, he does! george is the clear "guy in charge." they've all been together now for several months, but all of a sudden today, george seems more randy than usual and is running around mounting everyone, rumblestrutting and chasing. i did a double take and saw him mounting poor newman at an angle i didn't think was possible. :eye-poppi i should take pig-tures and publish the Kama Sutra for pigs! anyway - just wondered if others had the same "issues". either with an old guy suddenly getting his second wind, so to speak, or with well-established groups going through bouts of dominance strutting again! oh, the piggie drama!:melodrama

so, i'm gonna bump this because i really need some more experienced voices here. this is the second day that george, my 5 year old male is acting like he's high on viagra!! he's been chasing and mounting the other 2 males almost without stop for the past 2 days! right now, newman is having lap time, i wanted to give him a little break from having george jumping him! i'm surprised i guess because this group has been together for months now, and george is the well established head pig. nothing that i know of has changed. there's no bloodshed, but newman HATES being chased - he screams and cries like a little girl - poor boy! i'm trying to not interfere - but it's hard to see and hear all this without stepping in to give newman a break. has this happened to anyone else? is this "regular" male pig behavior? tell me something. . .
